Our collection service covers:
• Tyne and Wear, County Durham and Northumberland
• We aim to complete jobs between 3 to 4 days for stripping and 10 days for stripping and polishing.
• We have developed a hand stripping system for veneered wood and MDF to remove modern day water based finishes.
• We use our specially developed heated chemical tank with its fully neutralising system.
• All work is quality control checked before leaving our factory.
• Be aware of low standard imitators, your furniture deserves to be treated well. Warping, joint loosening and door panel damage are common issues reported in low quality stripping businesses.
We strip all wood and metal furniture including chairs, doors, tables, fireplaces, stair spindles, wardrobes, dressers and many more.

An Olympic dream!
Dip ‘n strip Founder Derek Wilcox was given the honour of carrying the Olympic Torch during the 2012 Olympics. It was awarded for his services to coaching young athletes in the region. Derek has since passed on the ‘baton’ of Dip ‘n Strip to the safe hands of Robbie his son-in-law.
